RXSOL Corrosion Inhibitor Silicate Based is a high-performance, low-toxicity, silicate-based cooling water corrosion inhibitor formulated to protect open recirculating cooling water systems against corrosion.
RXSOL Corrosion Inhibitor Silicate Based is particularly suitable for cooling systems operating with naturally soft or artificially softened water, providing effective corrosion protection under appropriate water treatment conditions.
This advanced cooling water treatment formulation is designed to control corrosion of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including steel, copper, and brass, helping to maintain system integrity and improve operational reliability.
The formulation combines silicate-based corrosion inhibition with complementary treatment components, which may include phosphonates, phosphate, polymers, and azole-based inhibitors, together with dispersing agents to support deposit control. It is designed to remain compatible with normal chlorine and bromine treatment levels when used within the recommended operating limits.
RXSOL Corrosion Inhibitor Silicate Based is primarily intended for soft-water cooling systems. Suitability for specific water chemistry and treatment conditions should be confirmed through compatibility testing and an appropriate cooling water treatment programme.
Dosage and Application of Silicate Based Corrosion Inhibitor for Chiller Systems
RXSOL Corrosion Inhibitor Silicate Based is designed for use in soft-water cooling systems only.
For a new system start-up or the recommissioning of an existing system, apply an initial dose of 300 ppm to establish the required treatment concentration.
For routine operation, maintain a product concentration of 100-150 ppm in the circulating cooling water.
Always operate within the cooling tower manufacturer's recommended water chemistry and control limits.
RXSOL Corrosion Inhibitor Silicate Based is compatible with most conventional cooling water treatment products. However, compatibility should be confirmed before mixing with other chemicals or introducing the product into an existing treatment programme.
