RXSOL Pre-Inhibited Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) is an inhibited coolant, antifreeze and heat-transfer fluid designed for industrial cooling systems with corrosion protection.

Pre-Inhibited Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG)

RXSOL Pre-Inhibited Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) is a specially formulated inhibited glycol coolant and heat-transfer fluid designed for industrial cooling, antifreeze and closed-loop heat-transfer applications. It combines high-purity Mono Ethylene Glycol with a corrosion-inhibitor system to help protect metallic components of cooling circuits while providing effective freeze protection and heat transfer.

Corrosion Protection

Pre-inhibited MEG is designed for cooling systems containing different metallic components. Published product information gives corrosion-performance limits for copper, brass, steel, cast iron and aluminium. (Oman Chem)

For optimum protection, the glycol concentration, water quality, operating temperature and system materials should be evaluated before filling or replenishing a cooling system.

Mono Ethylene Inhibited Glycol  Blue, MEG is an odorless, colorless, sweet-tasting, viscous blue liquid.

Application

Inhibited Mono Ethylene Glycol Blue is inhibited ethylene glycol, used as an industrial coolant, antifreeze heat transfer agent.

Remarks / Precaution

Why Use Pre-Inhibited MEG?

Plain Mono Ethylene Glycol provides freeze protection and heat-transfer capability, but a properly formulated inhibited glycol is preferred where corrosion protection of the cooling-system metals is also required.

Pre-Inhibited MEG provides:

  1. Freeze Protection – Helps lower the freezing point of the coolant mixture.

  2. Heat Transfer – Provides an effective glycol-based heat-transfer medium.

  3. Corrosion Protection – Inhibitor chemistry helps reduce corrosion of system metals.

  4. Convenience – The corrosion-inhibitor package is incorporated into the glycol formulation.

  5. System Protection – Helps maintain cooling-system components in demanding operating environments.
