Suitable for disinfecting hard, nonporous surfaces (metals, glass, fiberglass, plastic, vinyl and similar polymers, tiles, painted or sealed surfaces, finished woodwork, laminated surfaces, marble, and similar stone or stone-like composites) including: household contents, remediation equipment & PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), floors, vertical surfaces (sanitize in 30 seconds), walls, construction materials such as water damaged or sewage contaminated sheet metal, sealed wallboard or wood, shoes & boot soles, coils & drain pans of HVAC & R equipment, food preparation surfaces, cutting boards, countertops, tables, sinks, toilet seats, fixtures, cabinets, door knobs & handles, bed frames & rails, computer keyboards & mice, garbage cans, children’s toys, highchairs, changing tables, pet areas, prostheses & orthotics, sports equipment such as jock cups & helmets.
Ideal for many applications including residential and commercial cleaning, carpet deodorizing, home contents cleaning, food service areas, water-damaged materials, mould remediation and anywhere else germs or odour control is required. This product remains effective in the presence of organic matter.
Application :
General Cleaning & Disinfecting: Decon 30 is ideal for cleaning, disinfecting and deodorizing in commercial or residential environments. It cleans and sanitizes in 30 seconds making it a fast and effective product for infection control.
Porous Materials: Effectively eliminates odours produced by odour-causing bacteria, fungi & other odour-causing organisms on concrete, finished woodwork, trim, sealed wallboard & carpet. Creates no harsh fumes, and will not leave a harmful residue.
Grey or Black Water (Sewage) Damage: Pre-clean the surface first. Wet the surface with the spray and leave for 10 minutes. Do not rinse or wipe away.
Mould Remediation: Best used as a wipe application to remove surface moulds and as a spray after remediation procedure is complete to control any remaining moulds. Should be used with proper remediation protocols, as all moulds should be removed from affected areas to ensure health and safety of building occupants.
Dose & Using procedure :
TO CLEAN: 1. Wet the surface (spot test to check surface compatibility) and wipe clean.
TO DEODORIZE: 1. Wet the surface (spot test to check surface compatibility). 2. Allow to air-dry.
TO DISINFECT: 1. Wet the surface by sprayer (high or low pressure, hand or power operated), cloth, sponge or mop (spot test to check surface compatibility). 2. Leave for 10 minutes. Allow to air-dry. No rinsing or wiping is required. For heavily soiled surfaces precleaning is required.
TO SANITIZE: 1. Wet the surface (spot test to check surface compatibility). 2. Leave for 30 seconds. Allow to air-dry. No rinsing or wiping is required.
TO CLEAN AIR DUCTS: Apply the product to the surfaces
TO DEODORIZE CARPETS: Apply to the pre-cleaned carpet area by wand, sprayer, extractor, spin bonnet or immersion processes until saturated (spot test fibers for colorfastness before use). Scrub or agitate the carpet as needed to ensure the test substance is delivered throughout the carpet pile and backing. Extract & allow to air dry.
To Fog: For fogging contents and surfaces in contained vacant areas as a supplement to cleaning and disinfection: after setting up fogging device, seal all windows & doors and leave area for recommended treatment time, according to device manufacturer. After fogging cycle is complete, fully ventilate treated area. Following re-entry, cleaning & disinfection directions may be followed.
