Tank Cleaner (for removal of mineral/lube based products )
RXSOLB-SOLVE 2001 [ 80/100 ] ( FINE WASH )
Introduction:-Solvent based oil and grease remover.
Description:–RXSOL B-Solve 2001 ( 80 ) is a blended mixture with Glycol Ether (Butyl Cellosolve) as main component along with powerful penetrating agent corrosion inhibitor and surfactants. but uses Butyle Dioxitol as the main component and can be therefore be re-circulated in a on inerted tank. RXSOL B-Solve 2001 ( 100 ) is the more effective product and is used to remove mineral/lube based products. When using RXSOL B-Solve 2001 ( 100 ), the flash point of the actual product needs to be greater than 60o C. If the flash point is below 60o C, the tanks should be inerted.
Tank Lining – Stainless / Zinc / Epoxy / Phenolic.
Using-Procedure:
Spraying:-The tank should be sprayed with RXSOL B-Solve 2001, and then left for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes the tank should be butterworthed warm 50-60 o C for 30 minutes, followed by a 4 hour hot wash 80 – 85 o C, after which fresh water rinse and dry the tank. Due to the toxicity of RXSOL B-Solve 2001, all safety precautions must be taken whenever handling this product.
Injection:– No
Re-circulation:–Sufficient RXSOL B-Solve 2001 should be filled into the tank so that the cargo pump and butterworth machines function properly. Circulations should be carried out for at least 4 and ideally 6 hours and all areas of the tanks must be rinsed. The tank MUST be at least cleaned to a good Water White standard and must be dry, before filling the RXSOL B-Solve 2001. If another tank is to be circulated, then the product can be directly transferred. IF not, it can be returned to drums for further use at a later date. Following the circulations, the same washing procedure is carried out as outlined above in the spraying section.
*Use a strainer at the pumpstack when circulating any solution*
Cleaning of the Oil side of Lube Oil Heat Exchangers Cleaning is best achieved by the recirculation method using a heated 20% solution of RXSOL B-Solve 2001.First of all drain off any remaining oil from Heat Exchanger.Connect the discharge side of a portable pump to the lower heat exchanger connection & the suction Side of the pump to the bottom outlet of a 200 litre drum.Complete the circuit by connecting the upper connection on the heat exchanger to the top of the drum.Maintain the bath temperature between 60-800 C throughout the cleaning operation. If it is not possible to heat, the operation will need to be extended.Use the pump to maintain circulation for 12 to 15 hours. When the cleaning is completed, disconnect the lower heat exchanger connection and drain out the cleaning solution.Connect a fresh water supply to the upper heat exchanger connection, and rinse until the water runs clean from the lower connection. When rinsing is complete, disconnect the water supply and thoroughly drain and dry the heat exchanger.
