RXSOL 40 fluids are traditional solvents that are also known as mineral spirits. These fluids have been widely used in industry for decades, developed to replace kerosene in solvent applications.
RXSOL 40 solvents provide the advantage of controlled narrow boiling ranges compared with wide distillation kerosene products. In addition they do not contain significant amounts of sulfur compounds. This leads to an improved quality consistency versus kerosene products for predictable process performance.
RXSOL 40 is the conventional aliphatic fluid solvents used in industrial, professional, and consumer products applications. They are composed primarily of saturated aliphatic and cyclic C9 to C12 hydrocarbons (maximum aromatic content is 28%) in the mineral spirits or white spirits boiling range (approximately 140 - 200C; 284 - 392F). These products are not sold directly to the public for general consumer uses; however they may be ingredients in industrial, consumer and commercial product applications such as fuel additives, paints and coatings, industrial cleaning, and process fluids.
This is Aliphatic hydrocarbon. Used for coating applications like architectural and industrial maintenance coatings, automotive OEMs, product finishes, aerosols, traffic marking paints, marine coatings. Dose depends on usage.

| Swallowed | May cause symptoms of stomach pain, nausea and vomiting. Ingestion of large does may cause unconsciousness. If vomiting occurs after ingestion, small droplets of the liquid may enter the lungs (aspiration) with the risk of chemical pneumonia being induced. |

| FLAMMABLE | Solvent vapours can form explosive mixtures with air in poorly ventilated conditions. Containers may explode if heated. Vapour is heavier than air and may travel along the ground, distant ignition is possible. Wear self contained breathing apparatus. If possible remove containers from the vicinity of the fire. Otherwise keep containers as cool as possible by spraying with water, from a protected position. |
