Unipol RX : RXSOL-20-2057-210
Unipol-RX  is a pH-neutral, liquid concentrated detergent with good cleaning qualities. It contains effective but mild and environmentally safe wetting agents and surfactants that allow rapid penetration to remove fats and oils. Unipol is especially suitable for hydrocarbon freeing of tanks, and is safe on all tank coatings including zinc silicate.

Product Application:
Using Procedure:
The most economical method of using Unipol is by re circulation washing, using tank cleaning machines. Make up a solution of 1-5% in preferably fresh water in the tank and recirculate. Whenever possible, the cleaning solution should be heated to 50-80°C. Rinse off with hot fresh water. Alternatively, hand spray the tank with a 20-50% solution of Unipol and allow it to stay for 30-60 minutes before a final rinse with hot water. When the tank is cleaned to a  water white standard , remove any free water and ventilate until the tank is dry.

On an industrial scale, sodium thiosulphate is produced chiefly from liquid waste products of sodium sulphide or sulphur dye manufacture.In the laboratory, this salt can be prepared by heating an aqueous solution of sodium sulphite with sulphur.
Principal reactions and applications
Thiosulfate anion characteristically reacts with dilute acids to produce sulfur, sulfur dioxide and water-

This reaction is known as a ‘clock reaction’, because when the sulfur reaches a certain concentration the solution turns from colourless to a pale yellow. This reaction has been employed to generate colloidal sulfur. When the protonation is conducted at low temperatures, H2S2O3 (thiosulfuric acid) can be obtained. It is a somewhat strong acid with pKas of 0.6 and 1.7 for the first and second dissociation respectively.
Iodometry
In analytical chemistry, the most important use comes from the fact that the thiosulfate anion reacts stoichiometrically with iodine, reducing it to iodide as it is oxidized to tetrathionate:
Photographic processing
The terminal sulfur atom in S2O32 binds to soft metals with high affinity. Thus, silver halides, e.g. AgBr, typical components of photographic emulsions, dissolve upon treatment with aqueous thiosulfate:

In this application to photographic processing, discovered by John Herschel and used for both film and photographic paper processing, the sodium thiosulfate is known as a photographic fixer, and is often referred to as hypo, from the original chemical name, hyposulphite of soda.
Gold extraction
Sodium thiosulfate is one component of an alternative lixiviant to cyanide for extraction of gold. It forms a strong complex with gold(I) ions, [Au(S2O3)2]3. The advantage of this approach is the

Due to the quantitative nature of this reaction, as well as the fact that Na2S2O35H2O has an excellent shelf-life, it is used as a titrant in iodometry. Na2S2O35H2O is also a component of iodine clock experiments.
This particular use can be set up to measure the oxygen content of water through a long series of reactions. It is also used in estimating volumetrically the concentrations of certain compounds in solution (hydrogen peroxide, for instance) and in estimating the chlorine content in commercial bleaching powder and water.at thiosulfate is essentially non-toxic and that ore types that are refractory to gold cyanidation (e.g. carbonaceous or Carlin type ores) can be leached by thiosulfate. Some problems with this alternative process include the high consumption of thiosulfate, and the lack of a suitable recovery technique, since [Au(S2O3)2]3 does not adsorb to activated carbon, which is the standard technique used in gold cyanidation to separate the gold complex from the ore slurry.
Using Procedure:
Process for DE CHLORINATION :::
Dissolve the 500 grams of Sodium Thiosulfate in a large pitcher of lukewarm tap water. Stir until all the crystals are dissolved. Then transfer the solution with a funnel to the gallon jug. Top off the jug to make a full gallon of stock solution.
Add two drops of the stock solution per one gallon of the water to be treated.
One gallon can treat 37,850 gallons or more. Over-dosage is virtually impossible.

If RXH is not acid enough to release a proton at alkaline pH, as it is the case with amines, then the reaction has to be carried out in two steps. During the first step the first EO mole is added at acid pH, so that the amine is transformed in ammonium. The reaction produces the mono-, di- and tri-ethanol amines.

With an alkyl amine, first the alkyl ammonium ion is formed and it is deprotonated:

It is a heavy duty liquid blend of organic compounds with concentrated emulsifying agents. RXSOL-16-1046-020  is a liquid blend of organic solvent with heavy duty & concentrated emulsifying agents . An extremely effective for removal of burnt grease, carbon deposit , oily residues and lacquers found in fuel oil and lube oil purifiers and filters.

Product Application:
It effectively removes tenacious carbon deposits, burnt grease, Oily residues and lacquers from Disc / Disc stacks of centrifugal separators , Extremely effective for removal of found in fuel oil and lube oil purifiers, filters, separators.
Using Procedure:
Should be diluted ,at the rate of 1-parts RXSOL-16-1046-020  to 5-parts water,( Or 1:1 ratio of any solvent like diesel ) before use or depend on nature of dirt / contamination  RXSOL-16-1046-020  may be used directly. At 50 to 60°C for best results apply higher concentration for 15 min. to  3 hours. After the unit or parts have been satisfactorily cleaned, they should be rinsed thoroughly with fresh water. It is recommended that this product is not used on soft metal, Zinc, Tin, Galvanized surfaces or Anodized Aluminium.

RXSOL-16-2005-050  is a superior Heavy duty and highly concentrated Alkaline Cleaner, containing specially selected detergents and powerful long chain organic syndet , specific salts with surfactants & wetting agents . It is a low toxic product with an exceptional solvency power on soil & oily matter & having good foaming qualities. It is free from Hydrocarbon solvents, Biodegradable and minimizes the extreme hazards to personnel in handling materials. It is  suitable for TANK CLEANING / degreasing / heavy industries and also  useful for cargo hold cleaning after coal and pet coke.

Product Application:
It can be used as a general purpose cleaner to remove oil and grease deposits.
Using Procedure:
First of all flush the system with cold water to prevent evaporation rates and polymerization then the most economical method of using RXSOL-20-2005-025  is by direct injection followed by recirculation washing, using tank cleaning machines.

Spraying method:
Directly spray on the contaminated area and let it act for 5-10 minutes. Then clean the system  under high pressure. A solution of 5-10% in fresh water can be used for this purpose also , and may be sprayed on and hosed off using high pressure. Circulation method :Cleaning the oil side of  tank can be cleaned by circulating through with

Rock and Roll method:-
fill the tank with water (fresh or sea) up to 25 – 30% of its volume then 5-20% (Depend on contamination) RXSOL-20-2005-025 will add , let it stand for approximately 12-24 hours. Then fill with more water to 90% of the tank’s capacity. This way the tank will be cleaned by natural agitation due to wave motion. Let for a few days, then drain the tank and ballast-deballast 2-3 times in order to achieve complete and thorough rinse off.
PET COKE CLEANING :-
Deposition and Contamination of coal play an important role during cleaning, For Heavy deposition RXSOL-20-2005-020 can be used concentrated ( without  dilution ) Spray the product on the entire surface area and let it absorb for 15-20 minutes, then Wash with fresh or sea water. Otherwise it can be diluted up to 5 -10% depending on the deposits and contamination .
