Most commercially available nitric acid has a concentration of 68% in water. When the solution contains more than 86% HNO3, it is referred to as fuming nitric acid. Sodium Chlorate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula NaClO3. It is a white crystalline powder that is readily soluble in water. It is hygroscopic. It decomposes above 300 °C to release oxygen[4] and leave sodium chloride. Several hundred million tons are produced annually, mainly for applications in bleaching pulp to produce high brightness paper.

Product Application:
The main commercial use for sodium chlorate is for making chlorine dioxide (ClO2). The largest application of ClO2, which accounts for about 95% of the use of chlorate, is in bleaching of pulp. All perchlorate compounds are produced industrially by the oxidation of solutions of sodium chlorate by electrolysis.
Herbicides: Sodium chlorate is used as a non-selective herbicide. It is considered phytotoxic to all green plant parts. It can also kill through root absorption.
Chemical oxygen generation: Chemical oxygen generators, such as those in commercial aircraft, provide emergency oxygen to passengers to protect them from drops in cabin pressure. Oxygen is generated by high-temperature decomposition of sodium chlorate:
Oxygenless combustion: Sodium chlorate can be mixed with sucrose sugar to make a highly explosive fuel, similar to that of gunpowder, that burns in airtight spaces

Due to its oxidative nature, sodium chlorate can be very toxic if ingested. The oxidative effect on hemoglobin leads to methaemoglobin formation, which is followed by denaturation of the globin protein and a cross-linking of erythrocyte membrane proteins with resultant damage to the membrane enzymes.

Degrease thoroughly the surface with RXSOL-10-1005-025 . Never let the product dry. Hose off completely and thoroughly with a high-pressure spraying pistol. Remaining grease and product will influence the pickling process adversely. Let the surface dry, rub dry or blow dry.
Stir the pickling paste. Spread the undiluted paste over the surface or the weld by using the supplied acid resistant brush. Contact time: 30 min to 2 h. (depending on the kind of weld, the room temperature and material).The pickling process is terminated as soon as the paste turns green. Always rinse abundantly with clean water. Rinse preferably with demineralised water.
Never let the product dry Prolonged pickling lead to accelerated corrosion sensitivity and damages the passivation process .
In case of doubt, try out on a test surface or contact our technical service. It is used to remove heavy scales, discolouration, annealing colours, rust particles near weld and welding affected area by heat without grinding or wire brushing or buffing. DEFOAMER is a stable white emulsion formulated to quickly eliminate foam in recovery tanks of hot and cold water soil extractors, automatic shampooing equipment, and floor scrubbers.

Product Application:
Detergents: Anti-foams are added in certain types of detergents to reduce foaming that might decrease the action of the detergent. For example, dishwasher detergents have to be low foaming for the dishwasher to work properly.
Food: When used as an ingredient in food, antifoaming agents are intended to curb effusion or effervescence in preparation or serving. The agents are included in a variety of foods and in materials for food preparation; McDonald’s includes polydimethylsiloxane (a type of silicone) in its oil to mitigate hazardous splashes of oil caused by foaming in fryers, so it has been listed as an ingredient in their chicken nuggets, french fries, and other fried menu items.
Industrial use: Defoamers are used in many industrial processes and products: wood pulp, paper, paint, industrial wastewater treatment, food processing, oil drilling, machine tool industry, oils cutting tools, hydraulics, etc.
Pharmaceuticals: Antifoaming agents are also sold commercially to relieve bloating. A familiar example is the drug Simethicone, which is the active ingredient in drugs such as Maalox, Mylanta, and Gas-X.

FAST ACTING:
Excessive foam greatly inhibits efficient recovery and continuous equipment use. As a consequence, it is important that a defoaming product work rapidly. After extensive analysis and testing of various raw materials, a silicone component was chosen as the primary ingredient for DEFOAMER due to its ability to quickly attack the surface tension of foam. As a result, rapid and total elimination of excessive foam is achieved within seconds of exposure to DEFOAMER.

SUPERIOR DEFOAMING EFFICIENCY:
Utilizing the Modified Bikerman Foam Control Test, DEFOAMER was tested against 18 competitive defoaming products currently being marketed. In every instance, DEFOAMER exhibited far superior foam knockdown and elimination.

STABLE:
Unlike the vast majority of available defoaming products, DEFOAMER is a stable emulsion and will not separate. The product will withstand 3 freeze/thaw cycles without adverse effects to the defoaming efficiency.

DEFOAMER is non-corrosive and will not harm equipment. Formulated with environmental needs in mind, DEFOAMER is phosphate free.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Some individuals may be sensitive to ingredients in this product. Before using, read the product label and MSD sheet. Wet floors may be slippery. Prevent pedestrian traffic with signs or barricades.
1. Shake well before using to ensure uniform dispersion.
2. USE FULL STRENGTH. DEFOAMER is ready to use. No mixing or diluting is required.
3. Add 1 oz. DEFOAMER per each 5 gallons of recovery tank or sink capacity for elimination of normal foam condition.
4. When carpeting has undergone previous and repeated shampooings, for maximum defoaming efficiency, spray
DEFOAMER into the recovery hose and onto sides of the recovery tank prior to extraction.
5. When foaming is excessive, using your Spartasprayer, spray DEFOAMER directly onto foam in the recovery tank as needed.

Selenous Acid (or selenious acid) is the chemical compound with the formula H2SeO3. Structurally, it is more accurately described by (HO)2SeO. It is the principal oxoacid of selenium; the other being selenic acid.

Product Application:
The major use is in protecting and changing the color of steel, especially steel parts on firearms.
The so-called cold-bluing process uses selenous acid, copper(II) nitrate, and nitric acid to change the color of the steel from silver-grey to blue-grey or black. Alternative procedures use copper sulfate and phosphoric acid instead. This process deposits a coating of copper selenide and is fundamentally different from other bluing processes which generate black iron oxide. Some older razor blades were also made of blued steel.
Another use for selenious acid is the chemical darkening and patination of copper, brass and bronze, producing a rich dark brown color that can be further enhanced with mechanical abrasion.
It can be used as an oxidizing agent e.g. in laboratory preparation of glyoxal (ethane-1,2-dione) from glycol.
Selenious acid is a key component of the Mecke reagent used for drug checking

Aquasol Corrosion Inhibitor RX protects  components from corrosion during transport and storage . This environmentally-friendly product is a substitute for sodium nitrite-based alternatives. Aquasol corrosion inhibitor is added to rinse water for either spray or immersion rinse during cleaning, and provides long term protection against moisture and humidity for ferrous components. Protection may last up to six months, depending on storage conditions, and post-treatment processes such as brazing, bonding, and painting are not affected. The molecular layer of Aquasol Corrosion Inhibitor Rx  protection is invisible and non-tacky, and does not affect adhesion. Aquasol Corrosion Inhibitor contains no nitrites or phosphates. It is non-combustible, non-hazardous to the environment, and non bio-accumulating.

A rinse additive in spray or immersion systems to protect ferrous metals against corrosion for up to 6 months.
