C-SHINE Alkaline coil cleaner : RXSOL-16-1668-025
It is blend of alkaline-based detergents, surfactants formulated with a strong foaming action designed to rapidly emulsify greasy soils and oxidation thereby leaving coils dirt-free and shining. C-SHINE is recommended for cleaning air-cooled condensers, permanent filters and other finned heating and cooling coils.

Product Application:
In-service cleaning:-RXSOL-16-1668-025 is  passed through the air trunking upstream of the charge aircooler, followed by a clean water rinse. For cleaning of air coolers, it is necessary to use the correctly  installed  dosing  and  injection system.
Typical Cleaning Method :-
Dilute 1-3 parts water and apply with low pressure sprayer. Leave on coils for 3-7 minutes then flush with water until all foam is removed. If using non built up roofs etc., it is important to make sure all residual cleaner is washed off the roof surface after application. If good housekeeping practices are not followed, roof deterioration is possible. If used indoors, strong fumes may cause irritation to sensitive individuals and evacuate the area if necessary.
For cleaning of Air cooler and Air side of  turbochargers, a  solution  of  5 – 25% RXSOL-16-1668-025 in fresh  water is recommended. Inject the solution for 10-15minutes, then similar quantities of fresh water injected to rinse off emulsified deposits.
Using Procedure:
Handspray Cleaning:-
By Handspray, apply concentrate RXSOL-16-1668-025 all over the cooler coils. for good emulsification & penetration. Allow the  RXSOL-16-1668-025 for a minimum of 1 hour, then use a light water pressure   to wash  off  the  loosened deposits. During the process  always  keep the drain valve  open. After satisfactory cleaning, and flushing through with fresh water, close air cooler drains. Note that during this process the engine must be stopped.
Soak method:-
Machine parts with stubborn carbon deposits to be cleaned are dipped into conc. Soln. of RXSOL-16-1668-025 then allow deposits to be broken down and loosened before removal, then rinse .
Precaution ::–
Avoid skin / eye contact. Wear gloves and goggles when using. Use in well ventilated areas. Do not breathe vapours.

Product Application:
This is paint thinner. Designed to improve the flow of a range of alkyd and oil based products. Can also be used as cleaner for pumps and tools before and after painting. THINNER  is a mixture of esters, glycol, alcohol, and aromatic solvents suitable to all nitro products. It is manufactured for reducing lacquers before they are applied by different methods. Cyclohexane is a cycloalkane with the molecular formula C6H12. Cyclohexane is a colourless, flammable liquid with a distinctive detergent-like odor, reminiscent of cleaning products (in which it is sometimes used). Cyclohexane is mainly used for the industrial production of adipic acid and caprolactam, which are precursors to nylon.
Cyclohexyl is the alkyl substituent of cyclohexane and is abbreviated Cy.

Product Application:
Although rather unreactive, cyclohexane undergoes catalytic oxidation to produce cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol. The cyclohexanone–cyclohexanol mixture, called “KA oil”, is a raw material for adipic acid and caprolactam, precursors to nylon. Several million kilograms of cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol are produced annually.

It is used as a solvent in some brands of correction fluid. Cyclohexane is sometimes used as a non-polar organic solvent, although n-hexane is more widely used for this purpose. Butyl Cellosolve Acetate Solvent is a high boiling, slow evaporating solvent that has limited water solubility, but is miscible with alcohols and ketones. Because it exhibits good compatibility with various coatings resins, Butyl Cellosolve Acetate Solvent is used in many coatings applications. It provides good tolerance for aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and may be used to replace these solvents to enhance application properties such as brush ability or roll application in high performance coatings. The slow evaporation rate of Butyl Cellosolve Acetate Solvent also makes it ideal for use in specialty printing inks.

Product Application:
The main use for Butyl Acetate is in the coatings industry where it improves the gloss and flow of coatings that are baked at temperatures of 150-200 oC.
It also improves the brushability and flow of cellulose nitrate and cellulose ether lacquers, and of paints formulated from chlorinated binders.
Butyl Cellosolve Acetate is also a good solvent for urethane finishes and is a film coalescing aid for polyvinyl latex acetate.
Butyl Cellosolve Acetate also has applications in the printing industry where it is a component of flexographic, gravure, and screen-printing inks. This is because of the slow evaporation rate of Butyl Cellosolve Acetate which makes it ideal for use in these specialty printing inks.

Formic Acid, systematically named methanoic acid, is the simplest carboxylic acid, and has the chemical formula HCOOH. The chemical composition is HCOOH. It is an important intermediate in chemical synthesis and occurs naturally, most notably in some ants. The word “formic” comes from the Latin word for ant, formica, referring to its early isolation by the distillation of ant bodies. Esters, salts, and the anion derived from formic acid are called formats. Industrially, formic acid is produced from methanol.
Formic acid is a colorless liquid having a pungent, penetrating odor at room temperature, not unlike the related acetic acid. It is miscible with water and most polar organic solvents, and is somewhat soluble in hydrocarbons. In hydrocarbons and in the vapor phase, it consists of hydrogen-bonded dimers rather than individual molecules. Owing to its tendency to hydrogen-bond, gaseous formic acid does not obey the ideal gas law. Solid formic acid, which can exist in either of two polymorphs, consists of an effectively endless network of hydrogen-bonded formic acid molecules. Formic acid forms a low-boiling azeotrope with water (22.4%). Liquid formic acid tends to supercool.

Product Application:
A major use of formic acid is as a preservative and antibacterial agent in livestock feed. In Europe, it is applied on silage, including fresh hay, to promote the fermentation of lactic acid and to suppress the formation of butyric acid; it also allows fermentation to occur quickly, and at a lower temperature, reducing the loss of nutritional value. Formic acid arrests certain decay processes and causes the feed to retain its nutritive value longer, and so it is widely used to preserve winter feed for cattle. In the poultry industry, it is sometimes added to feed to kill E. coli bacteria. Use as preservative for silage and (other) animal feed constituted 30% of the global consumption in 2009.
Formic acid is also significantly used in the production of leather, including tanning (23% of the global consumption in 2009), and in dyeing and finishing textiles (9% of the global consumption in 2009) because of its acidic nature. Use as a coagulant in the production of rubber consumed 6% of the global production in 2009.
Formic acid is also used in place of mineral acids for various cleaning products, such as limescale remover and toilet bowl cleaner. Some formate esters are artificial flavorings and perfumes.
Beekeepers use formic acid as a miticide against the tracheal mite (Acarapis woodi) and the Varroa destructor mite and Varroa jacobsoni mite.
Formic acid application has been reported to be an effective treatment for warts.
Formic acid can be used as a fuel cell (it can be used directly in formic acid fuel cells and indirectly in hydrogen fuel cells).
It is possible to use formic acid as an intermediary to produce isobutanol from CO2 using microbes.
Formic acid is often used as a component of mobile phase in reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) analysis and separation techniques for the separation of hydrophobic macromolecules, such as peptides, proteins and more complex structures including intact viruses. Especially when paired with mass spectrometry detection, formic acid offers several advantages over the more traditionally used phosphoric acid.

Using Procedure:

PRECAUTION :
1> Loose iron particles or other foreign particles must be removed or they will appear as rust or stain spots. may become smeared over or embedded into the surface of corrosion-resistant steel parts.
