Product Application:
Tall Oil (Crude Cleaning Procedure)
Tall oil is an oxidizing oil and through reaction with oxygen of the atmosphere
it dries and hardens (drying oil). Oxidation occurs in three phases: liquid, gum
and solid. Tank cleaning should be therefore executed as soon as possible after discharge.
1.   Butter worth the tank 1 hour with hot seawater (60-70° C.)
2.   Butter worth the tank 1 hour with hot seawater (75° C.). Check if the tank is free of sediments before recirculation cleaning will be started.
3.    Flush the tank 10 minutes with fresh water to remove the residues of seawater.
4.    Prepare on of the following cleaning solution with fresh water :
0.4% RXSOL CTC -VOLC
0.4% RXSOL CTC-VOLC
2.5% Sodium or Potassium Hydroxide
5% RXSOL AL 2005
5.    Butter worth the tank 1, 5 hour by recirculation.
6.    Butter worth the tank 1 hour with hot seawater (70-80° C.) Rinse the tank
with freshwater
7.    Butter worth the tank 1 hour with hot seawater (70-80° C.)
8.    Rinse the tank with freshwater
9.    Ventilate, mop and dry the tank. Inspect the tank: Depending on the
Fatty Acid and Resin Acid content of the Crude Tall Oil it might be
possible that some minor spots of sticky brownish residues are present.
10.  To remove these residues Butter worth the tank with one of the following solution:
3-5% phosphoric acid and 0.4% RXSOL CTC-VOLC; or
3-5% nitric acid and 0.4% RXSOL CTC VOLC; or
2-5% of a metallic brightener (RXSOL MB 1011) and 0.4% RXSOL CTC- VOLC The cleaning temperature should be moderate (50°C.) Use heating coils not the Butter worth heater.
11.  Butter worth the tank 0, 5 hours with fresh water
12.  Ventilate, mop and dry the tank. Tall oil is an oxidizing oil and through

17.  Butter worth the tank 1 hour with hot seawater (70-80°C.)
18.  Rinse the tank with freshwater
19.  Ventilate, mop and dry the tank continued Inspect the tank: Depending on the Fatty Acid and Resin Acid content of the Crude Tall Oil it might be possible that some minor spots of sticky brownish residues are present.

Perfumed oils in water Neutralizer / Deodorizer for use after the carriage of FISH OIL eliminating unpleasant smells and odors from tanks previously carrying heavily smelling cargoes (for example fish oils or turpentines). One liter of product RXSOL-20-2042-210 will neutralize one liter of FISH OIL.  This  will also remove trace hydrocarbons and help to improve permanganate times.

Product Application:
Fish Oil (2nd cleaning procedure)
Fish oil should never be washed hot (varnish formation) Fish oil is an oxidizing oil and through reaction with oxygen  the atmosphere it dries and hardens.Tank cleaning should be executed as soon as possible after discharge. Avoid higher temperatures (e.g. steaming) and heated cargoes in adjacent tanks.
1. Butter   worth  the  tank 2   hours   with   cold/ambient   (max. 30°C.) seawater and pump the waste  water without  any  delay  continuously out. Check if the tank is free of sediments  before  starting  to clean as per step 2 and 3.
2. Flush the tank and line system shortly with fresh water to  remove  the sea water residues .
3. Prepare the following cleaning solution in fresh water.
0.4% RXSOL CTC-VOLC or alternatively .
0.4% RXSOL CTC-VOLC .
2.5% Sodium or Potassium Hydroxide .
5% P3 RXSOL-20-2042-210 Butter worth the tank 2.0 hour by recirculation. If Caustic is used the cleaning temperature should be not higher than 60°C.
4. Butter worth the tank 1 hour with hot seawater (70- 80°C).
5. Flush the tank with freshwater.
6. Ventilate, mop and dry the tank .
Using Procedure:
RXSOL-20-2042-210   ( NEUTRALIZER / DEODORIZER ) Biodegradable and water Rinseable
Spraying  Can be  used either by means of spraying, circulating or soaking with rags. NOTE ::: 1 to 2 liters of product is sufficient for one 400 m3 tank. ( 1 – 10 %  dose )

SOAKING ::: 100 %  ( Also possible to soak cotton rags in Care clean Air Fresh and leave them in the tank for several hours. )
Re-circulation  Make a 1 – 5% solution with fresh water in the tank, heating the mixture to 50 oC and re-circulate through better worth machines for at least 3 hours, after which better worth the tank for at least 3 hours with 50 oC sea water, followed by one hour at 85oC.  Check during final washing at the pump stack drain for smell.  Fresh water rinse and blow dry.  If there are other Acrylate tank, then make an adequate amount of solution at the beginning for transfer between tanks, spiking  the solution at each tank with additional RXSOL-20-2042-210(150 liters).
Use a strainer at the pump stack when circulating any solution.

It is free from Hydrocarbon solvents , Biodegradable and minimizes the extreme hazards to personnel in handling materials.

Product Application:

Using Procedure:
First of all flush the system with cold water to prevent evaporation rates and polymerization then the most economical method of using RXSOL G:50,  is by direct injection followed by recirculation washing, using tank cleaning machines. Spraying Method  – Using RXSOL G:50 as delivered in drums, spray onto areas where residue remains following rough washing leave for 10-45 minutes (but do not allow to dry), then butterworth at maximum pressure and warm water 60oC for at least 3 hours, checking that there is no foam remaining in the final stages.  Inspects tanks(s) and if desired result has been achieved fresh water rinse and dry.
Injection Method :  not applicable.
Re-circulation Method :
Fill the tank with fresh water and heat up to warm 50 oC .IF a drop line is available on the tank line system, then start to circulate the water and add the required amount of RXSOL G:50 to make a 2.5 to 5% solution.  Under normal circumstances, between 2.5% and 4.5% will be sufficient strength.  If there is no drop line, then lower butterworth hoses into the tank from the pump stack header without machines attached and circulate through these hoses while you fill the solution material.

RXSOL-20-3001-210 is very effective for the control of cleaning and degreasing. All ingredients are bio- degradable and safe to the person handling it. pleasant citrus odour. Our Enviro clean contains Orange Terpenes upto 10% of volume which enhance cleaning action as well pleasant atmosphere.
A unique blend of emulsifier, penetrating agents and wetting agent  make this  an excellent liquid scouring  cleansers. Very effective for the control  of cleaning and degreasing.  All ingredients are  bio-degradable and safe to the persons handling it. Pleasant citrus odour. RXSOL-20-3001-210  may be used in all types of cleaning and degreasing operations and is very effective against oil , grease and many other difficult soils .
APPLICATION  MANUAL DEGREASING: May be applied neat or diluted with water up to  1 part to 15 – 20 parts  by using a cloth ,brush or spray. After use as an engine room cleaner, bilge slops must be allowed to  separate for at least 3 hrs before passing through an oily water separator.
TANK & BILGE CLEANING :  RXSOL-20-3001-210  is recommended for any of the standard tank cleaning methods including ship motion , pressure spray washing and recirculation method after mineral, animal, fish and vegetable oils.
NOTE : FOR Hydrocarbon freeing after cleaning with hydrocarbon solvent cleaners like Seaclean ( RXSOL SC 2002 ), Tankleen (RXSOL 2001 ) and OSD (RXSOL OD 1012)  etc .

BY WASHING MACHINE:For  direct injection into tank This will require a solution strength between 0.03 and 1.5%, (0.3-15 lts per thousend  lts of  wash water).
BY RECIRCULATION METHOD:Working strength should be  0.05 and 1% ( 0.5-10 Ltres per ton wash water ) by weight in fresh water , based on capacity of the equipment . This solution can be re-used until no longer effective.
Spot cleaning:RXSOL-20-3001-025  can be hand sprayed neat or diluted up to  5 parts  water and allow 15 to 20 minutes contact time to penetrate deposits . Finally wash off with water jet . The best results will be obtained when wash water is heated to 40-60°C .Versatile can be used for tank cleaning or general cleaning , RXSOL-20-3001-210 has numerous general marine cleaning & degreasing applications including the removal of greases, oil, sludge, polymer compounds, carbon deposits, general dirt and grime Phase separation after cleaning, releasing the oil phase for reclamation .

Re-circulation  Make a 5% solution with fresh water in the tank, heating the mixture to 50 oC and re-circulate through better worth machines for at least 3 hours, after which betterworth the tank for at least 3 hours with 50 oC sea water, followed by one hour at 85oC.  Check during final washing at the pump stack drain for smell.  Fresh water rinse and blow dry.  If there are other Acrylate tank, then make an adequate amount of solution at the beginning for transfer between tanks, spiking the solution at each tank with additional product X (150 liters).

Chemically RXSOL Demulsifiers  reduce the interfacial tension between hydrocarbon and water, which helps to separate water content quickly.

RXSOL Demulsifier  is a totally organic liquid formulation of surfactants and  soluble in toluene, Xylene, Aromatic solvent, crude oil for the demulsification of water in oil and oil in water, capable of performance at room temperature, but with improved speed and percentage of oil removed when applied at temperatures near 60 deg. C (140 deg. F). RXSOL crude oil demulsifier destabilizes the oil-water interface that surrounds each water particle in the emulsion, replaces the emulsifier molecules (if any), and allows the water to coalesce. RXSOL crude oil demulsifier (demulsification of crude oil) is a completely combustible, non-abrasive; non-ash-forming treatment, which will improve the quality of the fuel it, is added to. The effects of crude oil demulsifier in demulsification of water in crude oil emulsions are based on relative rates of water separation were recognized through emulsion breakers.

Product Application:
Demulsification is used for the separation of water from crude oil. As crude oil is produced from a reservoir it tends to become mixed with either natural formation water or mixed formation and injection water. It is critical for refining process operations that the crude oil is efficiently and quickly separated from the water to allow oil to be exported and clean water to be discharged within consent, thus maximizing crude oil value and minimizing operating costs.

RXSOL DEMULSIFIER is  Water-In-Oil Demulsifiers, which can be used as stand-alone Demulsifiers to separate Formation Water from Crude Oil Emulsion. There are vast differences and Characteristics of Crude Oils produced in various Fields. Use and application Oil Soluble Demulsifier Testing & Selection is accomplished by standard Bottle Tests in Lab followed by Field Trial Tests. They are commonly used in the processing of crude oil for effectively separating formation water from emulsions in crude oil.

Using Procedure:

Dose recommendations have to be made on a case-by-case basis. The dosage of RXSOL DEMULSIFIER prescribed to break a particular emulsion varies from as little as 1 ltr per 20,000 Ltrs (50 ppm) of oil to as much as 1 Ltr per 10,000 ltrs (100 ppm) of oil. A few companies have even found that 20 ppm was more effective than the higher dosages, so we suggest adding the lower levels to your laboratory bench tests to verify the correct dosage for the specific application. Finding the most cost-effective dosage, as well as determining the best conditions of temperature, slow mixing, settling time, etc., is best done in the laboratory, using a sample of the actual oil or waste and a sample of Demulsifier.

Methodology for Evalution of Demulsifier :

Step 1 :Treat 100ml of the emulsion with 40 mg/litre of Demulsifer, (using 1% w/v solution in xylene in 100 ml graduated conical tube) and give 100 shakes of approximately 12 in stroke

Step 2 : Place treated emulsion in water bath maintained at 70 +1oC for a period of 15 minutes and allow it to settle for 5 minutes at 30+2oC. measure the quantity of clear water settled

Step 3 : Conduct a blank test with untreated emulsion under condition similar to treated emulsion

Step 4 : Substract the water separator if any in blank test from treated sample and denote it as V. Similarly subtract the water separated from blank from total water present in emulsion and denote it Vo.
